Our patient demographic is varied while the vast majority of our patients are locals from the Lara and Geelong region. Dr Geoff Storey has many patients who travel great distances still for our dental services. We have patients from as far away as Warrnambool, Ballarat and Melbourne, WA even far north QLD. We believe we have found the perfect mix of a warm and friendly environment with highly skilled professionals offering expert care and are humbled by the generous support and acknowledgment wide and far.

Dr Geoff Storey’s Brief History

Lara, for many years, had one operational dental surgery established in 1990. This was a part-time dental practice by the late Dr Bruce Hinckfuss and Dr Alistair McCallum as an adjunct to the Lara Medical Practice. With Dr Geoff Storey joining them a short time later, this meant that the Lara community had local dental care. During this period, this dental practice was only operating a half-day a week.
The practice grew along with the Lara community, and in 1993 relocated to Forest Road South, with two dental surgeries operating 2-3 days per week. As Bruce and Alistair phased themselves out of the practice, Dr Geoff Storey and other dentists’ continually grew and maintained the business until 2020. Dr Geoff Storey and his team decided to put their passion, dedication and enthusiasm to “Lifelong Dental” options, treatments and proven outcomes, hence our name and brand were introduced to our wonderful community. As our continual commitment to all our patients, we are certain you will grow with us and realise your full potential for optimal dental treatments and oral health for a lifetime.

A century rich history of orthodontics.

Orthodontics at Lifelong Dental is also a unique experience. Confidentiality and comfort are of the utmost importance to our patients, as well as not just a ‘straight teeth’ approach, rather considering all options necessary including health, quality and longevity of existing teeth and gums and your best lifelong dental outcomes. Dr Geoff Storey regularly attends national and international seminars to be at the forefront of new breakthroughs together with his association with “Progressive Orthodontic Seminars” for over a decade and continues to be at the forefront of orthodontic developments.

Dr Geoff Storey continues his families longstanding interest in growth and Orthodontics, with his late father being an esteemed Professor in the field in Melbourne. Dr Geoff Storey is a third-generation dentist, with his grandfather graduating in Melbourne in 1920. Now, that’s over a century of dentistry and experience flowing through Dr Geoff Storey and our experienced team.
